It almost seems impossible to substitute high cholesterol foods with cholesterol free foods, especially if someone has been eating for so many years. Here is a quick free look into the various kinds of cholesterol free foods available that you can eat.

Oat Bran:

Oatmeal can be an excellent choice as a cholesterol free food and it also helps reduce cholesterol to considerable levels. It is rich in fiber, and you can eat it as a cereal or even pancakes with it.


Researchers have newly discovered that eating everyday one raw carrot can lower cholesterol up to 11%. And, carrot juice is also known for clearing all toxins in the body, if taken everyday in the morning on an empty stomach.


Cooked beans like kidney and pinto beans are totally cholesterol free and they also add extra flavor to your salads and soups. They also contain high protein and are a good alternative for meat.

Olive Oil:

This oil is rich in monounsaturated fats and it gives an excellent supply of good cholesterol which flushes out fatty deposits from your bloodstream.

  • You can also lower your cholesterol levels by substituting beef, lamb and pork with omega-3 rich foods like mackerel, tuna and salmon.

These foods are not only cholesterol free foods but many of these foods also aid in reducing your weight. However, it should be noted that foods like rice and some nuts are high in carbohydrates and can add pounds, if taken in excess.
