How to Improve Good Cholesterol Level

  • Regular exercises:

    Exercises such as aerobics, jogging, walking, gardening, cycling and yoga can help to increase hdl levels in the body. These should be done for about 30 minutes everyday.

  • Soluble fiber:

    Increase soluble fiber in the diet. These fibers are found in fruits, oats and vegetables. Take about 2 to 3 servings a day.

  • Avoid smoking and trans fats.
  • Increase intake of foods rich in omega 3 fats. Fish is the richest source of it.
  • Reducing weight also ensures the increase in hdl levels.
